The watch
Weekly AI mention check
A single check is a snapshot. Names move. Someone gets a citation. Someone else publishes a page that answers the same question. The weekly AI mention check is the same prompt, run again, with email when the list changes.
$29/month is not a one-time report and not a fee to see the first pass. The first check is free. You pay to keep the prompt: we re-run ChatGPT and Perplexity each week, store history, and send a mill note if Named flips to Not named, or the other way, or if other shops appear. The note includes This week and the line that those steps don’t guarantee you’ll get named.
You log in with a link we email. Settings lets you cancel the plan without closing the account. History stays. If you want the watch again later, save the prompt again.
This is for a shop that has one question they care about, or an agency sitting with one client this month. It is not a monitoring suite, not SMS, and not a rank. If you want to understand the category name people use, read what GEO is. If you want the watch, run the free check first, then save it.
Weekly runs count toward the same live-check cap as free checks. If live checks are paused for the month, the account shows that pause. We do not fill the gap with a fake Named.
The email looks like the site: mill paper, square mark, Mentionmill word, indigo button. It does not look like a newsletter. Subject is the brand and Named or Not named. Body is the prompt, This week, and the no-guarantee line. If we cannot send, the account says so. We do not print a fake letter.
Login is the same email. Settings is cancel. History is the list of past passes. That is the whole account. If you wanted a 15-prompt cockpit, this is the wrong product. If you wanted one question watched, run the free check and save it.
What a week looks like
Monday you saved “best plumber in Austin” for Harbor Plumbing. The first pass was Not named. Wednesday you shipped the page and the Yelp listing. Next Monday we run the prompt again. If Harbor Plumbing is now Named, the email says Named, lists who else, and gives three stay-on-the-list steps. If the list did not move, we store the run and stay quiet. You still see history in the account.
Weekly runs use the same cost lock as the free check: gpt-4o-mini and sonar with a low search context, a short cap on tokens. They count toward the monthly live-check cap. If the month is paused, the watch says so. We do not fill a week with a fake Named to keep a streak.
Cancel is Settings. The login stays. History stays. Save the prompt again if you want the watch later. Sister products of Media Yard LLC are not part of this email and not on this form.
