How we use AI — Mentionmill

Mentionmill is an AI mention check. When you submit a prompt, we send that prompt to ChatGPT and Perplexity if those API keys are present. If they are not, we return a labeled demo result so the product still works in preview.

What the models do

They answer the prompt. We read the answer for your shop name, other names, and links. We do not ask them to rewrite your site, invent a score, or promise a rank.

What we do not do

Train a Mentionmill model on your prompts
Send outbound texts
Hide a demo result as a live pass

Engine names appear as labels on the answer card. They are not part of the Mentionmill wordmark.

Mentionmill is not affiliated with OpenAI, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google. Those names appear here only because people ask whether a shop shows up in those answers.
