Two engines

ChatGPT and Perplexity mentions

Mentionmill runs the same prompt on ChatGPT and Perplexity. That is not a lawsuit compare and not a score. It is two answers on one wording so you can see a split: named here, missing there.

Perplexity tends to show sources in the open. ChatGPT still names shops. A pass can name you on one engine and skip you on the other. Work both citation lists. Do not pick a winner and ignore the miss.

The result is still Named or Not named for your brand across what we read, plus who else and the links. This week uses hostnames from that pass. We do not invent URLs to fill a column. If one engine had links and the other did not, the steps follow the hosts that exist.

People search “ChatGPT vs Perplexity” when a client used both tabs. Send them this check, not a feature matrix. Mentionmill is not affiliated with either company. Engine names are labels. The mill mark stays the square indigo mark.

$29/month watches that same prompt on both engines every week. Email when the names change. Cancel from Settings. No 15-prompt dashboard. No aggregate rating. If live checks are paused, the screen says paused.

For Perplexity-only wording see Perplexity brand mentions and Cited in Perplexity. For the ChatGPT-only question see Does ChatGPT mention my brand. The form below runs both, which is the product.
